WWF Cruiserweights

The WWF has experimented over the years with cruiserweights, with mixed results.

Few would argue that they are extremely talented, and some of the greatest technical buts of all time have been displayed by cruiserweights.

Who can forget such classics such as Dynamite Kid vs Tiger Mask (Lt Heavyweight Title) from Madison Square Garden or Jushin "Thunder" Liger vs (the late) Brian Pillman.

How about the early years of (the late) Owen Hart in Stampede Wrestling (Canada) and in New Japan Pro Wrestling.

According to Jim Ross, Shelton Benjamin, Rob Conway, Nick Dinsmore, Doug Basham, Jamie Knoble, Shannon Moore, Steve Bradley and the Island Boys will be seen on WWF TV shortly.

Former ECW star Nova will join the Federation in mid-May. Rey Mysterio Jr. also will join the Federation once his signed
contract is returned. Expect him to go to the "Smackdown!" broadcast.
